Constructed from durable XD-Eco HDPE panels, the locomotive features 100% recycled plastic axels and a recycled plastic seat plank, with a stainless steel handrail and fasteners. Unlike most competitive products, Ernie the Engine contains no timber, so it will not rot, crack, split or develop splinters — making it an ideal choice for early years environments.

Ernie can be purchased as a standalone unit or as part of the Early Years Express Train Set, with carriages and station accessories available separately so you can add to the set over time. Units are designed to be freestanding but can also be secured to the ground with optional ground anchor lugs.
